Installation, use and maintenance of half volume heat exchanger

In order to prolong the service life of the heat exchanger, reduce the maintenance workload, save energy, and maintain efficient heat exchange, when the total hardness of the heated water is greater than or equal to 300mg/L (CaCO3), appropriate anti scaling measures should be taken to soften or stabilize the water quality, and the scale on the outer wall of the U-tube should be cleaned regularly.

1. The heat medium pipe of the heat exchanger shall be equipped with automatic regulating valves or automatic opening and closing valves to control the water temperature in the tank. The action of the valve shall be reliable, and its sensitivity shall be controlled within plus or minus 5 degrees of the set temperature.
2. The final temperature of the heated water shall not be higher than 75 ℃. In order to delay scaling and reduce maintenance workload in actual use, the final temperature of the heated water shall be controlled between 50 ℃ and 60 ℃.

The top of the heat exchanger is equipped with a safety valve. The opening pressure of the safety valve should be 1.1 times of the working pressure of the hot water system, and should not be greater than the design pressure of the heat exchanger body (it should be stated when ordering the safety valve). The installation and application of safety valves shall comply with the provisions of the Supervision Regulation on Safety Technology for Pressure Vessels issued by the National Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision.
To prevent the working failure of the safety valve, an expansion tank connected to the atmosphere shall be set on the top of the heat exchanger. If it is impossible, an expansion tank or pressure expansion tank shall be set to connect the heat exchanger.
The heat exchanger shall be inspected regularly during use, and the appearance inspection shall be conducted at least once a year, the internal and external structure inspection shall be conducted at least once every three years, and the comprehensive inspection shall be conducted at least once every six years.
After the installation and commissioning of the hot water supply system, the heat exchanger shall be insulated on the external surface.
Precautions for selection
"HRV-01" and "HRV-02" of each volume model have two types of heat transfer areas, A and B, for selection. In order to ensure that the water storage volume of the equipment meets the requirements of 4.4.8 of the Code for Design of Building Water Supply and Drainage, A-type heat transfer tube bundle should be selected for air-water heat transfer.
During water water heat exchange, both A and B heat transfer tube bundles can be selected, and the heat transfer tube bundles can be increased or decreased in a small range.
The working pressure applicable to the heat medium of this series of heat exchangers is: when the heat medium is steam, Pt ≤ 0.4MPa. When the supplied steam pressure is greater than 0.4MPa, it is advisable to reduce the steam pressure to 0.4MPa. When the heating medium is warm water, Pt ≤ 1.6MPa.
